This Privacy Policy describes how Privacy Wiper ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use the App. We designed Privacy Wiper to help you remove or modify metadata from your own photos. Protecting your privacy is the core purpose of this product, so we collect as little data as technically possible.
All photo processing (reading EXIF metadata, removing EXIF tags, modifying GPS fields, saving the result) happens entirely on your device. Photos never leave your phone through our App.
When you save a processed photo, it is written to your device Photo Library via Apple's standard Photos API, which requires your explicit permission.
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple and by our payments partner RevenueCat, Inc. When you subscribe or restore a purchase, RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous app user ID generated on your device, along with the receipt issued by Apple. This is used solely to verify your entitlement to paid features.
RevenueCat's privacy practices are described at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy. Apple's handling of your payment is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
We do not receive your credit card number, Apple ID, or billing address.
The App stores small amounts of non-personal preference data on your device using standard iOS
storage (UserDefaults / SharedPreferences), for example:
This data never leaves your device and is removed when you delete the App.
Privacy Wiper is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal profile to access, export, or delete on our side. To cancel a subscription, open the iOS Settings app → tap your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Privacy Wiper.
If we update this policy, the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
