How do I make an ID photo?

Open SnapID, tap the size you need (passport, visa, 1-inch, …), pick a photo, and the background is removed automatically. Choose a background color, then save or share. Everything runs on your device.

Tips for best results

• Use a clear, front-facing photo with your full head and shoulders visible.
• Even lighting on the face works best; avoid strong shadows.
• Any background is fine — SnapID removes it for you.

How do I print my photos?

Use "Save Print Sheet" to get a standard 4×6 inch (10×15 cm) sheet at 300 DPI with cut lines. You can print it at any photo kiosk, drugstore photo counter, or online print service, then cut along the lines.

Why wasn't a person detected?

Choose a photo where the face is clearly visible and front-facing. Very dark, blurry, or heavily obstructed photos may not be detected.

Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled through them: visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and request a refund for SnapID.
